Who Am I to Help You?

I’m Emma, the founder of Vitality Pilates & Wellness with over 15+ years experience in personal training, wholefood nutrition, meal planning and wellness coaching. I began coaching in 2015 because I hated seeing my Pilates clients caught in the cycle of yo-yo dieting and feeling defeated by their body’s inability to shed stubborn pounds.

While coaching clients I noticed there was always a small population who seem to be doing everything right and still couldn’t lose body fat. So, I returned to education to learn more on hormonal balance, metabolic health, and sustainable weight management.

That is when I discovered that if your body is dealing with hormonal or metabolic changes, even the best programme won’t get to the root of the issue and bring incredible results!

After I studied Metabolic Health, I began focusing on helping my clients to stop viewing their body as a simple math equation (subtract diet and add exercise) and started treating it like the complex chemistry set that it is.

With my approach, although we do talk about food, we also talk about self-care, coping skills, mental health, exercise, sleep, boundaries, and more to create a real mindset shift that serves you. I’ll teach you doable daily actions that are designed to fit into your busy life, without them taking over.

I’m not here to tell you what to do. This is a partnership, we both have experience to bring to the table. You’ll being the expertise of your own lived experiences. You know what works for you and what doesn’t. You know your likes and dislikes, your patterns, your schedules, and your triggers.

And I’ll compliment that with knowledge of nutrition, fitness and healthy lifestyle choices as well as support you with connecting to your goals on a deep level and tease out action plans to move you deliberately towards achieving those outcomes and keeping you accountable to ensure it happens.
